Hervé Zénouda (Stinky Toys, Mathématiques Modernes) et Gregory Davidow (Spions) ont formé un duo éphémère à Paris en 1981. Cet été-là, ils ont enregistré des démos pour un projet de groupe, nom de code Mitzpah. Quarante ans plus tard, n’ayant jamais oublié ce projet avorté, Zénouda décide de ré-enregistrer tous les titres avec Davidow au chant.
